Get Featured: Meet Yvette Lloyd

Meet the LifeHer Podcast, Yvette Lloyd

Tell us how you got into entrepreneurship.

I started at a young age watching my step dad get into Real-Estate and he use to have me read books every summer. So, as I became an adult I naturally built this Entrepreneurship drive and owned my first business in 2008 as a Daycare Owner.

What’s one of the greatest accomplishments you have achieved in your business?

I have my Own Day "Yvette Lloyd Day" in my hometown.

Where do you see yourself in the next 3-5 years?

Continuing to change lives and bring awareness to individuals to Stay in their own lane. Praying that Life Her Podcast will reach its highest level and I am able to purchase my own Community Center.

What do you love most about being a CEO Chick?

The unity, and support from women. It seems very genuine and no "mean girl" atmosphere. Also, Nikki Burnett (Nikkibthebrand) after speaking to her about when I interviewed her on my podcast she made me even more comfortable because of her genuine and real conversation we had.

Who inspires you?

My mother inspires me even though she pasted away almost three years ago and 50 cent inspires me as well. His book Hustle Harder Hustle Smarter got me through some tough times

What is your favorite book/podcast you recommend to our CEO Chicks?

Book: 50 Cent Hustle Harder Hustle Smarter | Podcast: Life Her Podcast

What advice would you give other aspiring entrepreneurs?

Even though you make mistakes it is still always room to grow. We just have to learn from those mistakes and become a better version of ourselves along the way. Having faith will get you far and being authentic.

What does this opportunity mean to you?

Letting my testimony be told to many more women that never heard of me. I know that with my transparency they will feel uplift, and inspired to feel as though they aren't alone or let my strength motivate them.
